Full Moon Oct 20, 2021, 9:30PM
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was born when the Moon is in Hasta Nakshatra.
Here is the interpretation from https://www.vinaybajrangi.com/nakshatr
as/hasta-nakshatra.php
Hasta Nakshatra is 13th among 27 Nakshatras in Vedic Astrology.
What is Hasta Nakshatra?
What is Hastra Nakshatra and its main themes, traits, mythologies and activation. We will explain all this in seperate paras as below. Hasta is hand, a spread hand, and it symbolizes the Sun. The fingers as rays and the palm as the Sun itself. It is a trustworthy Nakshatra. This Nakshatra is associated with humor, wit, and sarcasm.
The natives of this Nakshatra are a quick thinker and have a quick wit.
This Nakshatra is associated with an elephant.
Mysterious smile and is jovial is another signification of this Nakshatra.
Mischievousness is their fundamental nature.
Deity of Hasta Nakshatra is Savitur:
Savitur is the deity associated with Hasta Nakshatra. This is the solar deity that inspires you to start your day. Typically, people who get up in the morning should be looking at their hands and praying to ‘Savitur’ for their hand to do good deeds. The alternative names to this Nakshatra are ‘Bhanu’ or ‘Arkya’; both are related to Sun and thus to solar principles.
Savitur, the God of inspiration, is the giver of life and assists with childbirth. So, there is a relationship between Progeny and Hasta Nakshatra. The creativity and the use of the procreative ability is another thing about this Nakshatra.
Energies Running Hasta Nakshatra:
Two energies operate in Hasta Nakshatra, one is of Mercury (Virgo’s ruler), and the other is of Moon (ruler of Hasta Nakshatra). So, we can say that we invoke the intellect and the mind. Gayatri Mantra is, therefore, recited to awaken the inner spiritual being of a person by invoking the Hasta Nakshatra.
Hasta Nakshatra natives are, therefore,
witty,
good orators and excellent public speaker who could inspire people.
If one can channelize the energies, then a lot can be achieved in life.
Mythology of Hasta Nakshatra:
Prajapati Daksha (Progenitor) Yagna:
Prajapati Daksha organized a grand Yagna in which all the Gods were invited except for lord Shiva and his wife, Sati. The reason behind it was that Sati, the daughter of Prajapati Daksha, married Shiva without the consent of her father.
This infuriated Prajapati Daksha as Shiva (a smoker of weed and who lived in the Shamsaans) was considered an outcast. Sati, despite not being called in the Yagna, goes to attend the Yagna, thinking that her father would forgive her.
But Prajapati Daksha instead humiliates her and her husband in front of everyone. The insult was too much for Sati to take, and she jumps in the pyre lit for performing the Yagna and dies. This angers Lord Shiva when he comes to know about it.
He sends Mahakali, Veerbhardra, and Kaal Bhairav to devastate and kill all those who are present in the Yagna. Apart damaging other Gods, Kaal Bhairav chops off the hand of ‘Savitur.’
Using the analogy:
‘The golden arms later replaced Savitur’ s chopped off arms. Therefore, he was also called as ‘Hiranya Hasta’, the one with golden hands. Therefore, Hasta Nakshatra is associated with a golden arm.
Things best done While Hasta Nakshatra is Operating:
As Ashwini Nakshatra, Hasta Nakshatra is a Laghu and Sheegra (Light and Swift) Nakshatra. When this Nakshatra is operating, it supports good results from the administrating of medicine, or going for IVF, or meeting a doctor.
Another Analogy of Savitur:
Savitur is the first rays of the Sun, and Usha is the first ray. Ashwini Kumar comes chasing the Usha. After Usha follows Savitur, her brother. Usha paves the way for Savitur to come and shine.
Using this analogy:
For Hasta Nakshatra people, their sister or sister like figure plays a vital role (career, life-changing figure) in their lives. She may pave away for them.
